After 35 years in the structural landscaping and aggregates industry, Builders Corner Ltd trading as Landscape Structures has decided to separate its supply yard business into a new Division to be called Auckland Aggregates.
‘Our reasoning for this is a desire to expand our supply yard business and further promote the recycled aggregates line of product we have been supplying into the Auckland market for the last 15 years.’ says Managing Director Dave Stringfield.
‘With rising costs particularly at quarries there is an increasing need to reduce waste, so we will gradually integrate more sustainable aggregate products’.
Landscape Structures has operated in the Auckland structural landscaping and quarry supplies industry for more than 35 years. During this time it’s operated from its own yard in Gavin Street, Ellerslie.
‘We believe there is a huge untapped resource in Certified Recycled road millings for instance’, says Dave Stringfield.
‘With quarried aggregates being the Number 2 resource after water, the level of demand in some cases outstrips supply, hence an opportunity to expand the availability of re-cycled milled metals.’
Auckland Aggregates has also launched a new user friendly website with the emphasis on mobile interaction enabling contractors on site to order and pay for a range of Spec and Non Spec GAP products. https://aucklandaggregates.co.nz.
